We aim to make The New Clarence the most accessible pub in the city centre. If you have any suggestions please speak to the bar staff.

Dropped Kerbs

Hull City Council recently installed dropped kerbs outside the pub. There is a disabled parking bays near the Charles St entrance.

Step Free Access

There is step free access via the main entrance and a small step at the side entrance. Ring the doorbell in the entrance way if you need help with the inner doors.

Lift

There is a lift near the John Street entrance which goes to the Function room.

Accessible Toilet

There is an accesible toilet in the bar area and a second accessible toilet will be installed upstairs as part of the functino room renovations

Quieter Space

There is a quiet snug at the back of the bar area where there are no speakers installed. Please note that there are steps up to the quiet area.

Dog Friendly

All well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
